1. Countdown

2. Milestones and anniversaries

Two ways to count days

MethodStart on 1 MarchCommonly used for
Start date = day 0 (difference)100 days later = 9 JuneDeadlines, "X days from now", most Western countdowns
Start date = day 1 (inclusive)100th day = 8 JuneCouple and baby milestones in Korea and other East Asian countries

The countdown compares the target date with today's date on your device, so it ticks over at your local midnight. To count the days between two other dates, or only business days, use the date calculator. For an exact age, try the age calculator.

Frequently asked questions

How do I count the days until a date?

Pick the target date and the calculator shows how many days are left from today, along with the same gap in weeks and days. Once the date has passed, it shows how many days ago it was instead. Some people write this as D-30 (30 days to go) and D+5 (5 days after).

When is our 100-day or 1,000-day anniversary?

By default the calculator adds the number of days to your start date, so 100 days after 1 March is 9 June. In some cultures, especially in East Asia, the first day is counted as day 1, which makes the 100th day 8 June. Tick "Count the start date as day 1" if you prefer that style.

Are yearly anniversaries counted the same way?

No. Yearly anniversaries always fall on the same month and day, so a relationship that started on 1 March has its first anniversary on 1 March the following year. If you started on 29 February, non-leap years use 28 February.

Will my dates be saved?

Your dates are remembered only in this browser on this device, so they are still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to a server.
