Are my PDFs uploaded?
Merge, split, organize, JPG to PDF, PDF to JPG, sign and PDF to text all run inside your browser, so the file never leaves your device. Word to PDF, Compress PDF and PDF to Word cannot run in a browser, so they send the file to the CalcLab server in Seoul, convert it and delete it right away.
Can I open password-protected PDFs?
PDFs with an open password cannot be read. If you know the password, open the file in your PDF reader, choose Print → Save as PDF to make a copy without a password, and use that copy.
Is there a limit?
Browser-based tools have no limit. Server tools allow 20 files per person per day, up to 20 MB (50 MB for Compress PDF).
Do I need to install anything?
No. Everything works in a modern browser on Windows, Mac, Android or iPhone, with no sign-up.
