Why image tools that don't upload?
Most online photo sites upload your picture to their server, process it and send it back. For passport photos, family pictures or scanned documents, that is not ideal. CalcLab image tools use your browser's built-in canvas to do the work on your own device, so they are fast even on slow connections and there is no daily limit.

Frequently asked questions
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No, with one exception. Almost every image tool runs inside your browser using its built-in canvas, so your photos stay on your device. The Full Page Screenshot tool is different: it sends the web address (not a photo) to our server, which opens the page and returns the image.
Is there a limit on file size or number of photos?
There is no fixed limit because your own device does the work. Very large photos (over 50 megapixels) can be slow on older phones; try a computer for those.
Do the tools work with iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes. HEIC photos are converted in the browser first, so you can compress, resize or crop them like any JPG.
Do I need an account?
No. Every tool is free with no sign-up and no watermark added to your results.
