Privacy Policy
Effective 16 October 2026.
1. Files and data you enter
CalcLab has no accounts. Most image tools and PDF tools run entirely in your browser: the file is read and saved on your own device and is never sent to us. The background remover and face blur download an AI model file from Google and jsDelivr the first time you use them, and the PDF tools download a PDF rendering library (jsDelivr) and handwriting fonts (Google Fonts). Your files are not sent in either case.
Four tools are the exception because they cannot run in a browser: Word to PDF, Compress PDF, PDF to Word and Full Page Screenshot. These send your file (or, for the screenshot, the web address) over an encrypted connection to the CalcLab server in Seoul, South Korea. The file is processed and deleted immediately; we do not keep, read or share it. To enforce the daily limit we count requests per day using a one-way hash of your IP address (never the IP itself), and old days' counts are cleared automatically.
2. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which tools are used. It may set cookies, which you can block in your browser settings.
3. Advertising
CalcLab may show Google AdSense ads. Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies to show ads based on your previous visits. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings.
