Frequently asked questions

Does it capture the whole page, all the way down?

Turn on "Full page" and the whole page is captured as one continuous image, right to the bottom. Extremely long pages are captured up to about 12,000 pixels from the top (roughly 15 phone screens).

Can I capture pages that need a login?

No. The capture server opens the page as a logged-out visitor. For your own account pages, use the scrolling screenshot feature on your phone or a browser extension instead.

Should I choose mobile or desktop?

Mobile captures at 375 px wide (iPhone size) at 2× sharpness; desktop captures at 1280 px wide. Choose mobile when you want to check how a blog or online shop looks on a phone.

How many screenshots can I take per day?

Up to 20 captures per person per day, free.

Can I capture intranet sites or my router page?

No. For security, private network addresses such as 192.168.x.x and other internal addresses are blocked. Only pages that are publicly available on the internet can be captured.
