Word to PDF Converter
Turn Word, Excel, PowerPoint and text files into PDFs in seconds. No Office install needed, and Korean HWP files work too.
☁️ Your file is sent to the CalcLab server (Seoul) and deleted right after it's converted.
When this comes in handy
- No Microsoft Office on this device — convert a DOCX, XLSX or PPTX to PDF on a Chromebook, a borrowed laptop or your phone.
- Sending a résumé or report — a PDF looks the same on every screen, so your layout and fonts won't fall apart on the recipient's computer.
- Got a Korean .hwp file? — open it as a PDF without installing Hancom Office.
- Combining documents — convert each file, then join them with Merge PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Which file types can I convert to PDF?
Word (DOC, DOCX), Excel (XLS, XLSX, CSV), PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX), OpenOffice/LibreOffice (ODT, ODS, ODP), RTF and plain text (TXT). Korean HWP files from Hancom Office 2002 or later work too.
Will the PDF look exactly like my original?
Text-heavy documents usually come out clean. Files with complex tables, text boxes, shapes or unusual fonts can shift slightly, for example a line break moving or an image sitting a little lower. If you are submitting the PDF somewhere, open it once and check before you send it.
Do you support HWPX files?
Not yet. Open the file in Hancom Office, choose "Save As" and pick the HWP format, then upload that copy.
Are my files stored on your server?
This conversion can't run inside your browser, so your file is sent to the CalcLab conversion server in Seoul. It is deleted right after the PDF is made, and we don't keep a copy or look at it. For highly sensitive documents, the "Save as PDF" or "Export to PDF" option built into Word, Excel or PowerPoint is the safest choice.
Is there a limit?
It's free for up to 20 conversions per person per day, and each file can be up to 20 MB.
